NEW TIME FOR WEEKLY DOG WALKS AT LORD STIRLING STABLE
SPRING/SUMMER Hours In Effect

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - The Friends of Lord Stirling Stable are continuing the extremely popular “Dog Walks” every Saturday on the equestrian trails of the Somerset County Park Commission Lord Stirling Stable at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge.

“Dog Walks” provide owners and their canine companions an opportunity to explore the beautiful trails at Lord Stirling Stable. “Dog Walks” are scheduled for every Saturday.

Spring/Summer hours are in effect. Check-in time for owners and their pets begins at 6:30 P.M. with the walk commencing at 7:00 P.M. Walks are expected to last approximately one hour.

Registration is $3 per dog and all pets must be leashed and kept under control at all times. Sanctioned Dog Walks are the only time that dogs are permitted on the trails of Lord Stirling Stable.

NATURE WALKS AT ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER

BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Nature Walks at the Environmental Education Center are scheduled for Sunday, May 11 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. The hour long Naturalist led interpretive walks focus on a different theme during these weeks. Call 908-766-2489 for schedule updates.

The walk is free of charge and preregistration is not required. The walk is not designed for organized groups. The Environmental Education Center is located at 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge and is open seven days each week.
