General Golf Information
Somerset County Park Commission operates five
golf courses: Green Knoll, Bridgewater Township; Neshanic
Valley, Neshanic Station; Quail Brook, Franklin Township; Spooky Brook,
Franklin Township;
Warrenbrook, Warren Township— each with its own unique features.
Golf Identification Card
Somerset County residents may purchase a Park
Commission Golf Identification Card, entitling them to play at each
of the five county courses for a reduced in-county rate. The card is
renewable each calendar year and is nontransferable. Proof of residency
is required (current driver's license, vehicle registration or tax
bill) when purchasing and renewing an ID Card.
Registration must be done in person, at one of the five golf courses. Golfers must present their card upon purchase of greens fee each time they wish to play.
Dress
Code - ALL PLAYERS Proper golf attire and footwear must be worn. • Men: Shirts with a collar and sleeves, and Bermuda type golf shorts or golf slacks are required. • Women: Tops with a collar may be sleeveless. Tops without a collar must have sleeves. Bermuda type golf shorts slacks or skirts are required. • Mock turtle collars may be worn. NO DENIMS, JEANS, CUT-OFF SHORTS, SHORT SHORTS, BATHING SUITS, GYM SHORTS, TANK TOPS, T-SHIRTS, SHIRTS WITH SLEEVES CUT OFF, UNDERSHIRTS, HALF SHIRTS, HALTER TOPS OR OTHER SUCH APPAREL PERMITTED. |

Reserved Tee Times 908 231-1122
Golfers can reserve tee times through the automated Tee Time Reservation Service.
Somerset County residents may make a tee time reservation 24 hours a day, up
to 7 days in advance, at any one of the five golf courses. Golfers may also
check course conditions, as well as modify, cancel or review their existing
reservation. Non-residents have 5-day access for tee times.
Currently, there is a $35 annual subscription fee for registered county golfers, $50 for a family, and a $75 fee for non-registered and non-resident golfers. Subscriptions are offered on a calendar-year basis beginning January 1. Application forms are available in each of the golf shops. Non-subscribers may make reservations one day in advance, and walk-ons will be scheduled in any open spaces. Non-subscribers who use the service will pay a $10 reservation fee by using their Visa, Mastercard or American Express on a touch-tone phone. The phone number is 908 231-1122.
All annual subscription fees are subject to a 7% state sales tax.

*Individuals age 60 as of 12/31/06 will also be included as seniors. Registered County Seniors between the ages of 75 and 84 receive a 20% discount on greens fees. Seniors ages 85 and older receive free greens fees.
