Park Rules and Regulations
VIOLATORS SUBJECT TO PROSECUTION The park is open from dawn to dusk unless otherwise specified by permit or posted notification. All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas. Off-road, all-terrain motorized vehicles are prohibited. Prohibited…Alcoholic beverages, narcotics, littering, loud or disruptive music, fireworks, climbing trees, indecent language, immoral actions, swimming, and those activities as proscribed by the state statute, local ordinance, and Somerset County Park Commission Rules and Regulations. Fires are not permitted. Pets are welcome when kept under control and on a leash. It is unlawful to feed, catch, molest, or harm any wildlife. Hunting; shooting; trapping; and carrying of firearms, bows and arrows, or any other offensive weapon is prohibited. It is prohibited to remove or damage any property. Group and special events by written permit only. Recycling is in effect in all parks. Littering is prohibited. These regulations are designed to protect,
preserve and control conduct in county parks. They do not reflect all the
regulations governing the use of
the parks. A copy of the Somerset County Park Commission Rules and Regulations
