• Contestants must sign in prior to start of Derby between 9am and 9:45am.
• $7 non-refundable donation for each contestant will be collected.
• Each contestant must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Only 1 pole per child.
• Bait (worms) will be supplied at the pond. You may bring other bait if you wish.
• Lures, live, or artificial bait may be used.
• Prizes will be awarded for total weight of fish caught during the
Derby hours.
• Food and drinks will be served after the Derby for participants.
• In the event of inclement weather, please call 908 722-1200 ext. 351 after 8:00am.

Programs and activities of the Therapeutic Recreation Department (TR) are cooperative efforts between the Somerset County Park Commission and various muncipalities to provide specialized recreational opportunities to residents with developmental disabilities. Qualified staff plan a variety of sports, arts, cultural and social recreational programs for participants of similar ages and abilities.
