LORD STIRLING STABLE - MAINTENANCE WORKER
Several positions available. Work under the direction of the Maintenance Foreman. Seasonal workers would assist in the daily maintenance tasks of the stable which may include but are not limited to; cleaning offices, checking and fixing fence lines, general repairs, and mowing. Special projects may include painting and clearing brush along the trails. Upon occasion may be asked to help clean stalls in the barn.

LORD STIRLING STABLE - WORKSHOP AND LEAD LINE
To work under the direction of the Senior Stable Worker and Stable Supervisor, seasonal worker would assist in the daily summer workshop program and Lead Line. Workshop responsibilities may include but are not limited to helping to supervise participants while they are grooming, tacking and riding; assisting in the teaching of the educational portion of the workshop; and special ride/activity of the day. Lead Line responsibilities would include grooming and tacking ponies as needed throughout the day when not involved with workshop. Horse experience required.

MAINTENANCE WORKER
Under the direction of park foreman, seasonal employee performs a variety of routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning rest rooms,cutting grass, and picking up garbage/recycling throughout the park. Seasonal employees assist full time staff with special projects such as repairs to equipment and other infrastructure in park. All seasonal staff is required to operate varied types of light equipment so as to complete necessary work assignments. A mandatory requirement for seasonal staff is to work special events such as the July 4 fireworks extravaganza, 4H Fair, and summer concert series.

SEASONAL PARK RANGER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Duties: Provides visitor assistance in county parks. Must be able to work weekends/holidays/day and evening shifts and work outside in extreme weather conditions. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license. Rangers conduct foot and bike patrols in general use parks and natural areas. Seasonal Rangers perform some maintenance including trail work, in a variety of weather conditions. Most uniforms are provided.

Qualifications: Two years of college preferred majoring in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Parks Management or closely related field or equivalent combination of college and job experience. Enthusiastic and outgoing personality a plus.

Approximately $9.50/hour 40 hour work week (Four 10-hr days)

SPECIAL PROJECT - SUMMER HELP
10-12 week summer position working with full time Special Project Staff. Involves assisting staff with construction projects throughout Park system. Should be familiar with construction tools. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Must possess a valid driver’s license. For application, call 908-722-8605.
