Dance/Creative Movement Assistant
Are you a dance enthusiast? If so, join us in assisting teens and adults with developmental disabilities, as they explore the world of dance and creative movement. This instruction helps the participants rehearse for the Stageworks theater production.

Naturalist Assistant
Attention all kid-loving environmental enthusiasts! Assist with public environmental education programs conducted by the Naturalists. An extra set of eyes, ears, and helpful hands are frequently needed.

Equestrian Teacher Assistant
Inexperienced students need help finding proper fitting hats and boots. They also need assistance preparing horses for mounting, leading horses to and from the barn, and keeping horses ten feet apart. Trot on over if you would like to be an extra pair of hands for the instructor.

T.R.A.I.L.S. Assistant
If you enjoy horses and working with adults with developmental disabilities, then you may combine the best of two worlds to help with the T.R.A.I.L.S program (Therapeutic Recreation Adapted Instruction at Lord Stirling). Sidewalkers accompany students while holding and interacting with them. Leaders guide the horses as per directions from the instructor. Come join the team!

Fine Arts Assistant
You don't have to be Monet to be part of this program, but you do have to be willing to roll up your sleeves and let your creativity flow. Assist teens and adults with developmental disabilities as they explore a variety of mediums, including texture and functional art.

Fitness/Martial Arts Assistant

Model Airplane Check Pilot
Calling all model airplane enthusiasts! We're looking for a few good pilots with equally good flight and people skills to serve as check pilots for novice flyers. The checks take place at the North Branch Park Flying Field on an "as arranged" basis with individuals wishing to obtain a flying field permit.

Tennis Lesson Assistant
Get into the swing by helping with children's tennis lessons. You don't have to be a pro, but you must have enthusiasm, have good people skills, and a love of the game!

Theater Arts/Set Designer
Whether you like the smell of grease paint, the roar of the crowd, or prefer to stay in the wings, we have a job for you. Assist teens and adults with developmental disabilities in this on-going theater program. Volunteers will assist participants in learning script lines, voice projection, as well as design and construction of theater sets and props.

Vocal Instructor
Whether you have sung in the shower or karaoke, we need you. Assist teens and adults with developmental disabilities learn the fundamentals of singing, including voice projection, song memorization, and breathing techniques. This instruction helps participants rehearse for the Stageworks theater program.
