Scouts/Other Group Programs
The Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park provides programming opportunities for various community organizations such as scout groups, 4-H groups, senior centers, special interest clubs, and home schools. Programs can be conducted at the EEC, any of the other Somerset County Parks, or adapted for a visit to your organization's facility provided it is within Somerset County. Sorry, we do not conduct programming at private residences.
When scheduling, we request that the group consider the following information prior to calling:
- For scouts - any badgework, arrow points, try-its, or achievements that pertain to an aspect of the environment at the scout level you are working within.
- For other groups - any topics of interest regarding the environment or nature.
AND
- General information for all groups - group name, address, contact's home and work phone numbers, date choice(s), program time(s), number of children/adults, age or grade level of children, and any special considerations in your programming need
